Gen Harrison is a maker of prints and artist’s books, working under the ‘typochondriacs’ imprint. Her practice has foundations but is not exclusive to the medium of letterpress. She is interested in language, history, ‘ephemory’ and place.

Her work is held in the collections of the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh College of Art, the National Library of Scotland, the British Library, and the University of the West of England. As well as maintaining her own artistic practice, she supports and encourages others to do the same by running workshops and support days from her studio or out in the community.
