Tweed Valley Art Trail is an annual event celebrating creativity in the Tweed Valley.

Now in our 5th year we have over 40 artists exhibiting their work in Innerleithen, Walkerburn, Traquair and new for 2026 the trail extends to Kirkhouse.

Taking place on the last weekend of September the art trail celebrates the creativity often hidden in our local communities. Our 40 artists are exhibiting across 30 venues - we have even gone global with an expat artist (aged 12) exhibiting prints via his grandfather.

Our artists share a common love of art, making and expressing themselves through creativity. Some are just starting out in their careers, some are established artists who are making a living from their work, and others are enjoying exploring their creative side in retirement. For many this is the first time of showing their work in public.

Following the art trail you’ll visit artist studios, community spaces and local businesses. We are grateful for the continued support from local shops and businesses and Walkerburn village hall.

The creation of this website is thanks to a micro-grant from Innerleithen Community Council supported by the RWE Bowbeat Wind Farm (Innerleithen) Community Fund.

The art trail this year is funded by Scottish Borders Council via their Community Festivals and Events Small Grant Scheme.
