Moy Mackay studied at the Glasgow School of Art and as a practitioner she has pioneered and established a style of ‘felted painting’ for which she has become internationally renowned. Using merino fleece fibres and stitch in a painterly way, her creative process explores combining traditional craft methodology with a fine art aesthetic, creating a very personal and innovative approach to visual expression.
